Nice!

I'm hoping though, that after slicing the veg, the Tigershark did not cut the quiche in the pan, and was not used to cut it up on the plate. Evn the thought of those last two actions sets my teeth on edge.

I might have to try out a few of my collection in kitchen. Just need to make sure they don't get chucked in with the rest of the washing up.

and so nice and shiny !!

reminds me of the time I used my SOG Bowie to slice and dice some cantaloupes and honeydew melons .... by the time I was done, all the acids in those melons had removed plenty of the gorgeous bluing. Oh Well.

Cheers,

Carl

trees are easy .... it's those squirmy onions that are dangerous ..... LOL !!!!!!

No joke. Onions are way more tough with a big blade. That said the TigerShark handled it better than I was expecting. Much better than my Esee 5. I did need to polish her up the next day though. I like shinny things!

I have an S.M.C.A. Tigershark also. It's surprisingly good in the kitchen, for it's weight and thickness. I used to have a number of large and heavy bowies, but sold all but the Tigershark. Mainly because it works so well and is dang cool!

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

They do feel lighter in hand than one would expect from this size blade.

According to my postage scale, mine is 17.6oz. It's heavy, but the balance is rather nice. That's probably why it feels lighter then you expect.

I've used mine to chop a few 4" diameter tree limbs ..... works great !! The handle material is great: no hand shock. Plenty sharp, no chopping problem at all, works as well as a hatchet.

Cheers,

Carl

A man sized knife for a manly bite.
Never did figure it's real practical use until now!
Thanks for bring me up to speed on this most revered vintage of vintages.
From this day on i shall seek to replace the term "rod"
In a venerable old saying
So that it shall no longer be
"Give a man a rod and you feed him for life"
But instead,
Give a man a sog and ......
