Hey guys, what can you tell me about this Tomahawk? I was rummaging around in my storage area and found this thing in a bag and ... I know zero about it, other than I bought it a while back and have no memory of it.

Mine has a polymer case/sheath/holder for it, not nylon cloth. Other than that, this is what mine looks like.

They perform reasonably well and are much better quality than the Cold Steel Vietnam Tomahawk. They are longer (16" vs 14") and slightly heavier (24oz vs 20 oz).

I have mine in a kydex shoulder harness and use it to for the coup de grace when doing small game hunting / pest control.
I wrapped my handle with thin racquet tape - feels much better.

They are strong enough, though the early runs had issues with them breaking at the metal collar.

Actually they are decent quality dispite many people saying otherwise. They hold an edge better than almost any hardware store tool you can find and are fun to use. The early reports of handles breaking were probably due to the material being new and after some changes they fixed the problem. The very first run of that model actually had a wood handle. I also wrapped the handle for a better more comfortable grip.

My neighbor has one he uses for everything and it takes all the abuse he puts it through.
It's not something i would ever buy but I can only assume they are a decent tool.

I bought the smaller fasthawk with a gift card a while back it was about the only thing available at the place I was remotely interested in. My thoughts were throw it at the tree in the backyard until it broke.
I now carry it camping and woods bummin' often . It comes sharp holds an edge big enough to cut walking sticks poles etc. the spike is great for digging through rotten wood for grubs for bait has a flat on the side to drive tent stakes . I bought it expecting a toy but got a pleasant surprise , of it being a good tool

I have this one as well Roy and it's a good tool like you mentioned. I wouldn't mind having a couple more for throwing. Their not bad I just wonder how tough that handle is and probably not replaceable as far as I can tell.

I've got one that's been used and abused. Hasn't broken or become loose. It's relegated to the truck tool box.

I threw the sheath away pretty early on. It was crap. I think I paid like $30 for the whole thing, so it was pretty much expected.

That little criss-cross checkered square section between the two heads is for hammering. It actually performs okay at it.

I won't buy another one if this one breaks, but I've enjoyed using it nonetheless.
