SOG Tomcat (original)

Hi, I inherited this SOG Tomcat. I posted it up earlier in the original folders area and it was suggested to post it here.
I had no idea of name or steel, but have since established it's a) a Tomcat and b)440C steel.
It's a working knife and holds its edge really well. It seems to be worth a lot of money today, clearly this one would be less as it is scuffed and scarred. I got it like this so I'm not bothered, but I'm impressed that I now know I have a really good and sought after knife.

The Tomcat is a beast of a folder and has a classic design.I have owned 6 Tomcats over the years, now I have one regular like yours and a Cocobolo version, they can be worth around $200-250 if like new, with some of the rarer versions fetching closer to $250. Even with your wear its still worth at least a solid $100 bill. Enjoy it and hold on to it, they are getting harder to come by every few years it seems.
