Does anybody have an SOG Toolclip multi-tool and did you have any problems with the clip getting bent out of shape? Called SOG after it happened about ten years ago and never got a solution because they had quit making them.

Thinking about taking a dremel tool and cutting off the clip. Has anyone ever tried ths and how did it work out?

Pics would help. Anyway, this is a bit confusing. From what I can gather, they stopped making it in 91, but are going to make it again, replacing the serrated blade with a bottle opener. It also has a phillips head at the end of the pilers' handle. The clip also looks like it's been put in a better place and made of metal now.

KC has a availability date of 9.17.10. MSRP for $20. Looks nice, I think I'll pick one up.

i never realized that it had a metal spring clip;
always had it figured that it had an integral zytel-clip moulded into it's handle slab.

This is one of the originals got it in 1988 or 89 at a gunshow. All metal and no plastic. This one has the serrated blade with a file and screwdriver tip. The can opener has a single ground utility blade.
