SOG Trident Folder; some questions.

My fiance gave me a SOG Trident Folder for Christmas, and I really like the knife. However, I notice that the blade has some noticable side-to-side (lateral) blade play when it is open and locked. I have handled other SOG Trident Folders and have noticed the same lateral blade play.
Is this a normal characteristic of the Trident Folder? Does it adversely effect the knife's ability to hold-up under heavy cutting?

Mine has some side to side play. It doesn't bother me like some folks. Mine is sharp, opens with a snap--probably because of the minimal blade play. You can tighten it a little with the right size torx wrench. As far as I can tell, the side to side play has no effect on the cutting performance of the knife.
