Hey Guys..

Just sheathed up a SOG Trident for a customer, which turned out really nice...

I was quite impressed with the Trident..

I'm not much of a double guard Bowie type of guy,,actually not to often that a Bowie turns my Crank,,but this Trident was extremely well made,,and if I were to buy a Bowie style blade,,this would probably be the first one I'd get...

Actually I'm considering it Anyway..

Fit and finish on this knife was A++, right up to the fit of the stacked Micarta handle and SS pommell...

so if your looking for or wondering about the SOG Trident.. Don't look any further..It is an Awesome blade that will serve you well..

Nice job SOG..

Yes to that!

For all it's worth, I second the motion for the forth time. As for you non-SOG collectors dropping in for the moment, just so you know that it's not an identical twin to the SOG Bowie. The materials used in its manufacture makes it more than just a superbly made show piece. Personally I love the idea of modernizing and improving on the traditional SOG Bowie with stainless steel and fully weatherproof materials. Though I am sure most folks nowadays prefer exotic higher end steels, this baby still cuts it. A classic styling that's as durable as it gets.

Yeah, Normark! What about a picture on that sheath of yours.

Finally, I would certainly love to hear from anyone out there who's gone into the "blue waters" with this SEAL namesake < Bobby B? :) >

Krizzard, out.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for the nice words. The Trident is a stunning knife (along with some of its relatives: the SOG Bowie, Recon Bowie and the Scuba/Demo).

I've never handled any of your sheaths, but have heard only the absolute BEST! I've referred a few people in your direction. If you have any pictures, I can post them for you (if you'd like). I'd love to see them!

Take care...and keep up the great work.

Hey Guys...

Well sorry about this guys..These messages were sent when I was ill and I just found a Huge block of unread messages... 3 weeks with some kind of strange flu,,and the messages really add up..I thought I got them all...

Anyway...

To you guys with questions about pictures of the sheath..
Unfortunately Stupid me,,forget to snap a couple...

Iwill expalin it the best I can though..

First off it looks like one of my CRK sheaths for the Project series,,Front guard exposed, and custom formed makes it a Great fitting,,Great looking sheath.. The sheath also comes with a slight dropper belt loop 1.75" wide, but a large Tek-Lok can easily be installed...

As far as the knife itself goes.. Like I said,,I'm not one much for Bowie blades,,but the Trident is a fantastic looking, feeling blade..you guys that own them know Exactly what I'm talking about...

Thanks...

Eric...
