Tr ying to stay away from the word 'survival' as much as possible, I wondered who here may be able to give me an opinion on how the SOG tsunami (earlier edition) would fair up in an outdoor environment. Tasks including cutting thin branches, vegetation etc. I.e in camping.

Many thanks

I had a SOG Tsunami and loved it only reason i got rid of it is to buy a SwampRat. The knife took a wicked edge that it did not lose very quickly. I used it to prune rose bushes and such and it worked just fine. I did stabb a few wooden doors with it to see how it held up and I tell you if I come across another one for a good price I'll snatch it up.As far as camping goes it doesn't chop well if that is a consideration. :D Hope this helps. :D
