Gerber Traverse is easy to open and SOG is easy to close . Now what pocket knife is available that would be both easy to open and easy to close ? The SOG isn't difficult to open but the person has to position their hand to get the spring assist to open it whereas with the Gerber you just pull it open manually . However the SOG is better to close because one just presses down on the crown at the top and then push the blade in . With the Gerber you have to push the bar aside inside the handle to close the blade . So what's available that is both easy to open and easy to close ?

how big? price range? the spyderco paramilitary 2 is easy to open and close but more $ than either you listed

Pocket sized and I guess under $75 . You would be surprised that the SOG twitch11 wasn't that cheap . With tax and shipping here in Canada it came close to $100 and for such a small knife that it is . The Gerber is bigger and cheaper and I bought it in a store so I saved on shipping costs .

I was looking at the spyderco paramilitary 2 on the internet and one person said that it is so abrasive that it will make a hole in a pocket , lol . Yes, you are right , pocket knifes can reach hundreds of dollars literally in price . I saw one for $230 and unbelievably it was on sale ?? It's regular price was over $300 !
