Picked up one of these little guys at a neighborhood pawn shop for 25 bucks. Not really a fan of SOG's folders but I like this little knife alot for some reason. Anyone else ever liked a knife that you wouldnt think you would?

I love the SOG Twitch II on looks, but it has a few quirks that bug me, like being a one-hand opener with a lock that's a pain to close without using two hands (I can do it, but I don't like it). I bought it and returned it twice, the second time being late last year. When I finally ended up buying one a third time for next to nothing locally several weeks ago, I gave up; it wins. I'm destined to own it.

I picked up a Spyderco Caly 3 a few years back.
It sat in my drawer for quite a while until I decided to give it a try.
I absolutely loved it after that.
Very thin, great handle, great blade length etc.
Just didn't care for the ergonomics of the back lock so I sold it.

I'm a fan. In the teeny, lightweight genre, its a competitor. I like the feel, speedy deployment and deep carry. Its lightweight and unobtrusive. SOG knives have a certain cheap and loose feel to them, but when you get past that you realize its a decent knife with some redeeming qualities.

A co-worker of mine had one and liked it,especially after I sharpened it for him.One day one of the screws that held the pocket clip went missing and I told him I would see if I could get him a replacement.Three e-mails were sent to SOG over a one month period and not one was answered.Good little knife, not good customer service.

I found one at work. I like it well enough but somehow it feels "big" in my pocket so I don't carry a lot.

Huh?! What do you usually carry that makes a Twitch II feel big? (by the way, if it's a Blink, then okay.)

I often carry a Spyderco UKPK which feels really small due to the low rider clip and its super light.

I like my Twitch II a lot, but my Twitch I is too difficult to close. It's a thumb buster. I sent it to Spyderco for an adjustment but it hasn't been returned yet. If it can't be fixed to close easier, I'll get rid of it.

Not sure if Spyderco can fix that one. You might try sending it to SOG when you get it back. :p

(I know what you meant. Just givin' ya a hard time.)
