Anybody have any feedback regarding this knife? Thinking about getting one but the store packaging is the notorious plastic pack so I can't check it out. How does it compare to the Kershaw Leek?

Thanks

I don't have a leek, but the twitch is a pretty solid knife. SS liners and aluminum scales. The assisted opening is quick and lock up is strong. The twitch also has the pass-through "kick" as well as the thumb stud. I like it and carry it, well, once in a while. If you don't mind a slightly shorter blade, save a couple bucks and get a blink. the only thing it lacks(v. the twitch) are the liners(the aluminum scales are pretty tough) and the kick(it has thumb studs). They are both stout little knives.

i have a Twitch II and a Twitch I - they sure are some nice toys

hard anodization on the handle (i have dropped mine several times and they do not show 'scars')
sheeple-friendly knives: I can pull em out of my pocket and do whatever needs to be done in the office without giving shivers to my colleagues

they don't seem to have bushings around the pivot, so Militec is their best friend:D
the blade has (oh, Lord) both horizontal AND vertical blade play. Hard to believe, but I haven’t been able to find a torx/allen that would fit the blade pivot, it seems to be a #2 and the smallest I managed to find was a #4. However, I can deal with the horizontal play, and the folks at SOG weren’t concerned at all, “if you tighten the pivot too much, you won’t be able to open the blade by pressing the kick” they said. That’s fine and I can live with that. What REALLY bothers me is the vertical play, which cannot be eliminated. i would have thought that those CNC machines are able to work on tighter tolerances.
