SOG Twitch XL Advice?

Hey everyone. New to the forum and to knife collecting. I'm looking at the SOG Twitch XL in Graphite handle. Just wondering the quality of the blade, eg. does it hold it's edge well, any side to side or front back movement, etc. Any advice would help.

Hi JT,

Been pretty happy with mine.

It was a Office EDC, it opens well, locks strong, it came hell for sharp and is overall a great blade.

JT, I've had one since they 1st came out and it is truly a great knife.Centered blade, razor sharp and returns to razor sharp in no time. I think of it as a solid little tank! Great AO action as well. I have many knives from many makers and this 1 ends up as a daily EDC often.:thumbup:

I love mine. I will add though, I believe the aluminum handles are begging for limited runs of things like some knurling or designs engraved into them. (Think Chris Reeve Umnumzaan) Maybe some anodized variety, too? The thing is, you've got this large amount of plain space there. Might be nice to break it up a little. The "Clean" design has been accomplished. Now, let's see what else can be done... Just a thought.

it holds an edge very well but there is a little blade play in both directions nothing much though
