SOG Twitch Xl, Help/ question.

Ok guys...I received a SOG Twitch XL, Satin blade, black handle....weird blade shape one.(drop point)

Anyway the thing is pretty hard to open actually...with thumbstuds especially, but also the flipper. Like I can get it to go a little but than it wants to close back on it self, take a lot of force to actually open it and let the spring take it the rest of the way. and than with the studs, its even worse, sometime won't even open all the way just stops.

And before anyone asks....No the safety is not on....of course I'd make sure that was off.

IIRC, one (or both) of my XL's was similarly sluggish at first. A drop of Break Free and frequent working the action and it settled down after awhile.

Most of that opening was with the flipper, I've always found the XL difficult for my hands to open with the thumbstud.

Thanks. I've given it a lot of oil lately for now, seems to help. I don't expect much from the thumbstuds do to the design, placement of them. But I was like damn even the flipper barely works. And yeah if the thumbstuds only work so-so, well than on this knife, that's ok for me.
