Maybe you could try posting it in the SOG forum as well so when Chris is back, hopefully he can help you out. Is this the first time you've opened up a folder?
I don't own one but if you have a total of 3 washers (2 plastic (one thick and one thin like super thin) and one bronze phosphor washer) it goes like this
(Liner) - (thin plastic washer) - (bronze washer) - (blade) - (thick plastic washer) - (Liner).
As to which side of the blade is the bronze washer is to go, perhaps have a good look at the blade. The side where there is some abrasion (bronze washer abrades/rubs more than plastic) is the side where the bronze one is to go.
Good luck, hope this helps.
PS: Don't screw your torx too tight as you may be opening them to again and again until you get them right. You don't wanna wear them out you know.
PS: This is how it is on my recon by CS and AK47. May not be the same but close.
it's the washer for the blade pivot screw. my Lahar has a brass washer that goes between the G10 and pivot screw. different knife i know but there ought to be a washer in there. good luck.
I think it goes right where you have it. I don't have a Vulcan in front of me to verify this but I seem to remember seeing a washer in that area.
Yo XxDrAgOnxX! I just remembered reading a thread abot a guy who had rust issues with his Vulcan. His rust was on a washer that is between the handle and pivot screw. So yeah I think the washer is where you pointed in the red arrow! I'm a bit busy to search for you but try to find the thread here in Bladeforum and you'll see a pic.
