Does anyone have the sog vulcan.I saw it in the latest blade magazine. It looks like a pretty cool knife. It looks like it would fit nicely in your hand.If you have one what are your thoughts on it.

I don' t own one, but I have played with it a bit in a local knife store, and was quite impressed:thumbup:

It opens extremely smooth, the flipper is quite functional, no noticeable blade play, a seemingly strong lock, VERY comfortable handle, nice blade shape, light weight, deep carry pocket clip... What else is there to want?
I say go for it!

Same here, I was impressed with the ones I handled at Grand Prairie Knives awhile back.

It's somewhat comparable to a Benchmade Griptilian.

Got one in my pocket right now. I really like the flipper, and of course the Arc lock. The pocket clip is somewhat weak (can easily get bent or broken), and after some time (about a year of occasional carrying and using) there is some vertical blade play - you can't really see it with your eyes, but it's there when you grab the blade and push it up and down. Still a great knife.

I have the Mini and it is a great knife. Very sharp out of the box and I've used it on cardboard boxes, plastic banding, even .010" brass wire at work and it still has a great edge . There is just a hair of side to side play but I snugged it down and all good now.
