Last week I posted this thread about the Krayton handles wearing out on an old, SOG Stingray that I have.

After I posted the thread, I sent an e-mail to Chris and asked if SOG had any replacement handles for the SOG Stingray. Chris replied to me saying he had sent my inquiry to SOG Warranty. I received an e-mail from SOG Warranty saying that indeed they did have a set of replacement Krayton handles and they asked for my address. The slabs came in the mail today. No charge!!!
Now this is for a knife I purchased in 1986 and carried daily for about 15-years causing the Krayton handles to wear away to nothing and then continued to carry it sans-handles for about another 10-years. It wasn't SOG's fault that the Krayton scales wore out. It's just the nature of Krayton in my experience.
Anyway, I got first class service from SOG and I'll remember it the next time I go cutlery shopping.
Thanks Chris.
