After reading here a lot, I see little mention of the SOG knives. Who has them and whats the general opinion of these knives. I know they make quite a few models and I have yet to find one that I didn't like pretty well.

Their fixed blades are decent but WARNING! SOG does not warranty their sheaths. I found this out the hard way when I recieved a bad sheath.

Thanks for the tip on the SOG forum. Guess I should read a little more before I ask.:D

Their new sog vulcan is very nice and packs a punch. For lighter EDC there is always the flash II or the sog trident. Personally I like sog and their customer service is great. I haven't had to worry about sheaths as mentioned above, but their knives are great and practical.

I love my sog trident. Definitely just for slicing though. Hoping to eventually add the bi-polar, flash II, and the power assist to my collection.

I spoke with someone a couple months back about the sheath for my gov-tac...they guy was very helpful and told me to send my old sheath(kydex) in for a replacement(nylon). I waited about a week and called back, asked the same guy if he had recieved my sheath, he said no...too quickly I said "wait a minute you dont even know my name, how do you know you dont have it." to which he responded, "if i had it would be on my desk" he remembered me and my issue and within a few more days my new nylon sheat was waiting for me. Good customer service and good knives in my book. Not the biggest fan of AUS-8 but thats a different thread.
