SOGfari machete

SOG has 2 new machetes coming out this month, I was wondering if anyone had heard much about them. They seem to be relatively cheap at around 30 dollars, made from high carbon steel tempered to HRC46.

The blades look exactly like Gerber's Gator machetes. Different grip though.

Nope, I've so far only seen pics....not much into machetes since I moved north of the sub tropics. Hell I rarely use the ones I have now...and then only doing yard work.

LOL!! Maybe I'm just getting old...but they just don't seem to be as much fun as they once were...I still like Katanas so who knows.

All I know is it uses the same handle as the Jungle Primitive--which I don't like.

HRC 46 seems a bit LOW to me.

46 is low 52-54 is the norm for higher quality machetes
