Hi all,
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am B2D, head of SOG's DOGs. We are
currently running a contest which revolves around primitive-method fire-lighting with the use of only a knife or tool. If any of you would be interested,
please visit us at the SOG's DOG's DOG-HOUSE, conviently located in the SOG-Forum. Participants must join & be issued an official number, after joining
a participant must post a reply, "I accept the SOG's DOG's Challenge!" & present your member # & i.d.
Prizes are ranks. So, if you are uninterested in seriously joining the club, we aren't currently offering prizes other than ranks, & so this is all there is to win.
But, for a serious member, that is, in my own opinion, a good prize plus it comes with bragging rights!
Please drop a line if you are interested. Please read
the contest details & rules in the DOG-House carefully, any questions may be sent directly to me personally.
Oh, to contribute here--I often use fat-pine sticks to start fires, I hold the edge of my knife at a close angle & create a fine dust & powder, which I've found easily & quickly takes a spark! Mix that with some shavings, & getting a fire is simple.
