As this dubbed video from Japanese television shows, a hand-made katana does the bullet splitting trick about as well as the $150 SOG Tigershark. So, for cutting lead bullets, the SOG Tigershark is the clear winner. Same katana performance at literally a hundreth of the price. :D

On the old one maybe! In my opinion, I reckon if you shoot the new Tigershark with an .45ACP round on the same spot as the old one, it wouldn't last one shot. Why?:confused: That's where the serrations are on the new one... I don't think the serration can split the bullet, it'd probably get dented one shot. Also, we're talking AUS6A not SK-5 like the old one.
 
Nah I reckon the serrations would be able to split the bullet.
The real test of a knife would be shooting the spine or even tougher, shooting it in the middle, side on.
