Sogwinder S11

I have a sogwinder s11 (seki)…the kraton hand grip has turned to tar basically…does anyone know where to get new ones or a shop that will replace them? This is an early 90’s japan made knife my father carried for 20 years before passing and I want to get it fixed/refurbed….dog doesn’t make this blade any longer

Ask Sog. I needed a thumbstud for an old knife and they sent me one for free.

Well, I can certainly relate to this thread. I have a Sogwinder II that I purchased in 1989, and the thumb stud came off after a couple of years. SOG sent me a new one when I contacted them about it. It was different from the stud that had fallen off, but it worked. Then, just a few years ago, I found the Kraton scales had started to get sticky and curl at the edges.

Makes me wonder if I should look at my old Sogs.

New SOG is owned by GSM and their customer support is "meh" at best.
