***SOLD***
Vintage Carl Schlieper Eye Brand "3-eye" large 4 blade Congress - made early 60's most likely. It's 4" long closed, with two 2 5/8" sheepsfoot main blades, and two 2" pen blades. All blades have strong snap; action is firm to strong - main blades have about a 5 pull, pen blades have about 6+; all blades have cam end/round end tangs. Gorgeous jigged bone handles - no chips or cracks. Actual bone color is not quite as dark as the scans. Both main blades are etched with the two eye etch and both main blades have a large Eye trademark stamped on the back of the tangs (thus "3-eye") which I cannot get my scanner to image well enough for you to see -- front of tangs stamped Carl Schlieper/Solingen/Germany. As for the blade steel - expect some of the best carbon steel ever put on a folding knife, period. (I have a smaller yellow cel 3-eye Congress that I've carried for years - the steel is second to none.) Very solid knife. Has various blade rubs (it's a closely fitted knife) and a few tiny pepper specks on the pen blades. Never used, never carried, never sharpened. No box.
Asking $70 (was $75 (was $80)) - PayPal instant payment only - fee included; USPS Priority Mail shipping and insurance included -- shipping to US only.

Opening action is firm - about a 5 (spey is about a 4), snap is good but not strong, all blades have cam end/rounded end tangs.
