For sale is a Cold Steel Carbon V Recon Tanto knife. The knife is nearly 20 years old and has never been used to cut anything but paper or sharpened. There's some minor wear on the blade (shown in the pictures below) from inserting it into and removing it from its sheath.

Cold Steel no longer produces this knife in Carbon V, but you can easily find out why Carbon V was a big deal back in the day and just how durable this knife is.

Nylon cordura sheath, smooth (non-textured) powder coat (which Cold Steel aficionados refer to as the Teflon finish).

The original buyer claimed this was a counterfeit knife. To be sure, I asked the members of coldsteelforums.com who confirmed what I already know, that it isn't. Please only tell me you'll take it if you're serious.

Infamous, I received your message and emailed you back twice. First I wrote you with my paypal email address and when I hadn't heard back, I wrote you again. After I didn't hear back from you a second time I said the knife was still available.

I have sent you one more email via bladeforums with information. Please double check that the messages I've sent you haven't ended up in your spam folder.

If I don't hear back from you in 24 hours I'll have no choice but to sell it to Steel Dragon.

Given the complications I've had already, my first inclination is to avoid international shipping.

I'm waiting to hear back from californiapyroboy and will give him a little while longer to respond since it's only 9:42 AM in California. If I don't hear back from him after a reasonable amount of time, I'll sell to you.
