Got a very nice set of YCS Kardas here, that I'm selling standalone or as a full set:
HI, 14" OAL, 16 oz. YCS Karda by Kumar, Carved Chandan, Chiruwa tang, Black Buffalo Hide scabbard - Price reduced now $80/$165 set)
HI, 11" OAL, 10 oz. YCS Karda by Kumar, Carved Chandan, Chiruwa tang, Red Buffalo Hide sheath -(Price reduced now $65/$165 set)
HI, 8.25" OAL, 7.4 oz. YCS Karda by No Name Kami, Carved Chandan, Chiruwa tang, Black Buffalo Hide sheath - (Price reduced now $45/$165 set)
This top one is not very common. There were just a few of them and I had three. 14" long and an even pound. The scabbard fits very well, no play at all. Most of these were smooth neem or dab dabe wood, with just a couple carved chandan like this.
Next is a matching 11" OAL. There were only one or two batches offered in this length, which is probably the most useful size. Also carved chandan:
Last is an odd one by "No Name Kami". I have had more than a dozen carved chandan YCS kardas but this was the only one I found with these specs, 8.25" and 7.4 oz. (Please see post #2 for better detail of the handle carving on all 3 knives). There are others at about 8", but I've never seen one with such a substantial handle or this kind of belly to the blade:

None of these has been used, carried or sharpened. They are as they left Nepal in 2005 or so.
Please add $10 per knife (or per order) for S&H + Insured anywhere in the CONUS. (I'll give overseas quotes on request, but that usually adds about $35-$40 or so.) PayPal preferred, and I pay the fees.
