I recently scored a green kW exclusive pm2, so I decided I didn't need my cam/DLC pm2 that I bought a couple of months earlier. I put it up on the trade forum but it's kind of a hassle to trade since I'm in Costa Rica. So this morning I went down to the local bait shop to get a few supplies and decided to bring the knife. The local captains are always having coffee there and I figured it might be a good place to sell a knife. There was only one boat captain there so I sat down with him and the owner and asked if they knew anybody who wanted a good knife. He asked what I had...I said spyderco pm2...30 seconds later he's counting 20's out in my hand. Seriously. One of the many reasons I love spyderco. I appreciate the quality and reputation that made that possible...I mean the guy gave me $10 more than I payed new and I think he felt like he was ripping me off. :)

Ok, now it's time to start shopping. Hehe.

Yep, a PM2 can be like a pair of blue jeans or a carton of Camels on the other side of the Iron Curtain!
Almost a universal currency!

Out of curiosity, what are you in the market for next? Also, how's that Gayle Bradley treating you?

You know i got real serious about knives about nine months ago and I have yet to bump into anyone who knows anything knives or carries one.... nothing. Never saw someone pull one out to use or see one clipped to a pocket. If it wasn't for the internet i would think i was the only one interested in them.

Yep, so what's next on the list? Since you already have another Para 2 & the Bradley, what floats your boat? Is the Bradley all you expected and holding up to the rust OK?

Aww, I've kind of been eyeballing those Militaries lately. I think I can probably pick up a plain one for what I got for my pm2. Hard to go wrong with a Millie yeah? The Gayle Bradley is holding up fine to the environment so far, but my pm2 (other one) sees more use. More comfortable to carry and better blade shape for my uses.

You won't be disappointed in a Millie. I carried a PM2, exclusively, for over a year. Now I have a Millie and it has gotten much more pocket time that the PM2 since it's arrival. I can't really say which I prefer right now. I love them both.

I have two recently purchased black/satin. I'm pretty sure I only need one, but I can't bring myself to trade it. I think the reason is pretty simple. I won't be able to find another knife that is as good as the PM2 in the same price range.:(
