Designed by Spyderco owner, Sal Glesser, the "Millie", this rare carbon fiber Spyderco Military C36CFP, is a big comfortable ergonomically designed razor sharp CPM-S30V flat ground, straight edge modified clip-point blade. The "Military" has a chunky carbon fiber handle. The "Millie" is one the highest quality knives that Spyderco makes.
The "Millie" has an extra large Spyder hole for extra fast opening under adverse conditions. The 5.50" handle widens at both ends of the carbon fiber grippy scales. This allows a very positive hand hold. The top and bottom edge of the blade, where it meets the handle, are both serrated for extra blade control. The black steel clip allows for tip down carry. The handle spacers open up the center of the knife making cleaning a breeze.
The knife opens very smoothly and locks up solidly tight. There is no give or movement in this knife. The flat-round plain edge blade style makes for very sharp precise cutting.

A beautifully made piece it features a black steel pocket clip (a real clip not one of those paperclip jobs) that carries the knife tip-down in a pocket.
The CPM-S30V steel in the blade is a very high end knife steel used only in the best knives, both custom and manufactured. CPM-S30V ("V" for vanadium) with it great hardness really holds a killer edge when compared to almost any other blade steel. However it is made so that it is still reasonably easy to sharpen the blade.
