***SOLD***
Up for sale (No Trades Please) is a TAD Gear and Strider collab called the "Dive Utility Knife" or D.U.K. Tad Gear wanted a highly corrosion resistant alloy for diving or wet environments and so they decided to use S110V steel for this model. This, as far as I know, is the ONLY model Strider has ever put out in this steel. It's sold out at TAD Gear and so far there's no talk of any more of these to come.
Comes with one of the best warranties in the business: So long as you don't modify it, it's replaced with an identical model (even if discontinued) if it breaks- no questions asked.
Condition: I've really only used this for food prep in the kitchen. Fixed blades are kind of a burden to EDC in CA (at least for me) because we can't conceal fixed blades and I really don't get out to nature-like areas often enough. So it really just stays at home fighting off imaginary ninjas and zombies. There is normal wear on the coating from pulling it in and out of the kydex sheath. I haven't sharpened it, but I have stropped it a bunch of times on leather and .25 micron diamond paste so the edge is a bit on the shiny side.
Comes with: Original kydex sheath from TAD Gear. I've added a removable tek-lock clip and wrapped the handle with black paracord. The cord wrap comes off easily enough if you hate wrapped handles or my fantastic wrapping skills
.
Specs (from TAD Gear's site):
HRC is 60-62 according to Josh on the Strider Forums.
Pics:
First without the paracord and next to a large XM-18 for size comparison:
Asking: $300***SOLD***$280 shipped OBO. Again, no trades please. I need to fund another purchase. I can deal internationally, but may need to add shipping costs and can't be responsible for the knife once it gets shipped off.
