PRICE DROPS ON THE BOKER AND KLAAS
***SOLD*** Boker 280 whittler with some beautiful jigged bone - probably made in the 90s (I've had it quite a while). This one is 3 3/8" long closed with a 2 1/2" clip main blade (with classy gray reverse etching) and 1 1/2" pen and coping secondary blades -- all carbon steel. All blades are totally solid - no wobble or even movement to be felt. Both secondaries have great snap, the main blade has modest snap (though it's got a fairly strong action otherwise - about a 6 pull or a bit more). Never carried, never used, never sharpened - with original box. Tang stamped with the tree and Boker/Solingen/Germany. Sadly, it has a short tight crack in the front scale on the secondary blades' end, going directly from the bolster to the pin there -- don't think it will ever go any further though - you can see it on the images.
Asking $25 (was $28) - PayPal instant payment only - fee included; add $5 for USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance - US only (will combine shipping with the rest of this listing - shipping with insurance is $5 total for any or all to the US).

***SOLD*** Robert Klass swellback congress whittler with very nice stag scales - made in the early to mid-90s (main blade etched Reproduction/Circa 1895 No 5/1 of 600). It's 3 3/4" long closed with a polished 2 1/2" sheepsfoot main blade and glaze finished 1 5/8" pen and coping secondary blades -- all carbon steel. Pinned shield. All blades have nice snap and action, though all have just a little movement to be felt. Never carried, never used, never sharpened - no box. All blades tang stamped.
Asking $40 (was $45) - PayPal instant payment only - fee included; add $5 for USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance - US only (will combine shipping with the rest of this listing - one or all is only $5 total shipping with insurance in the US).

***SOLD*** Robert Klass buffalo horn whittler (at least I'm pretty sure it's buffalo horn). I think this one was made in the 70s or 80s. It's 3 5/8" closed with a polished 2 3/4" clip main blade and glaze finished 1 5/8" clip and coping pen secondary blades. Both main and clip pen blades are totally solid, no movement to be felt; the coping pen blade has a little movement - all blades have nice action and snap. Main blade etched with with PREMIUM QUALITY/HAND FORGED with kissing cranes at each end of the banner etch. Pinned shield. The shield and bolsters are nickel silver -- however they are very yellow German nickel silver - you may have a hard time telling them from brass. All blades tangs stamped. Never carried, never used, never sharpened - no box.
Asking $38 - PayPal instant payment only - fee included; add $5 for USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance - US only (will combine shipping with the rest of this listing - one or all is only $5 total shipping with insurance in the US).

***SOLD*** German made whittler with fat (and fairly nice) stag -- I'm almost certain it's made by Robert Klass -- main blade is stamped C Platts & Sons/Gowanda NY (I think this one was made in the early 90s when everyone was passing around the old trademarks like popcorn). It's 3 1/2" closed with a deep recurved 2 1/2" clip main and 1 1/2" pen secondaries - all have half-stops and good snap - all carbon steel. With the fat stag, it's 5/8" thick. Main blade action is stout - I'd say 7+ pull; pens are more like a nice 4. Blades are tight - a very solid built knife. Never carried, never used, never sharpened - no box.
Asking $38 - PayPal instant payment only - fee included; add $5 for USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance - US only (will combine shipping with the rest of this listing - one or all is only $5 total shipping with insurance in the US).
