solder bronze

what or which bronze can be soldered on for a guard and or butt cap??
on a carbon steel knife.

Depends on what you are soldering it to-
If carbon steel, tix, lead, silver-bearing solder, or silver braze.
If stainless, silver-bearing, or silver braze.
