Here's a bad pic of my knife that's on it's way to Roger. It's 3/16" x 1 1/2" D2, 6" convex grind blade with bead blast finish, 5" handle, green canvas micarta and loveless screws. Spec Ops sheath

nice job Scott, you guys are all coming up with some great looking knives for the soldiers, the convex grind seems like a good idea too. cool little package overall  .

That turned out awesome
Everybody has really done a hell of a job with this, I'm really proud to part of a group of people like all of you guys. I bet the Taliban surrenders within a month :D

Thanks guys. Terry I didn't get more pics and now I wish I did. I can't take a good picture very well. Anyway I got the sheath from 1SKS, total with shipping was $41.00. They are as everyone's been saying, very nice. I hope this knife will make life over there a little better for whoever gets it. That's all I'm looking for out of this project.

Scott,

I got that baby Saturday. Can't remember if I emailed you that or not. I was going to ask what the steel is. I'll mark D2 on the note you enclosed. Very nice BTW.

That does look great Scott. You guys are making me look bad! Here I am still trying to solder mine together. I did get the Gun Kote ordered though, so assuming I am able to do a solder job eventually mine should be done fairly quickly too. You guys are making some fine knives and a lot to measure up to! Way to go Scott,

Thank you so much for the encouraging words. I'm always so critical of my work even though everybody seems to like what I do. I still have alot to learn and I sure appreciate the help I get here. You guys are tops. ;)

Hey Scott...where did you get that sheath from again?
One Stop Knife Shop. They had the lowest price.

Looks like it should make life a little easier, very nice, and a good usable shape, bet it feels good in the hand.

Thanks Will. I'm hoping what you said does happen, make life over there a little easier. I had a half a dozen people handle the knife and all said it felt great.

Here is a quote from the email I got from the recipient of the knife I donated

I have a pistol and two other knives on my right. You can't have enough knives, ha.
