If anyone of you can give me details about this blade, i thank you for that. It was belong to my father, he was a soldier recruited around 1960s. Hope you can share me a details about this blade. Thank you very much.

The only "combat knife" I was issued was the bayonet for the M16-A1 they loaned me. I had to give both back :( when (honorably) discharged in 1975 due to medical reasons. (so much for my plan of retiring from the military at aged 38 or 48 ...)
Truth to tell, I don't remember anyone in my unit having another fixed blade.
No Ka-Bar Marine fighting knife (or the Army variation), no "Jet Pilot Survival Knife", no Trench Knives (with or without the integrated brass knuckles), no diving knives ... just the "lowly" bayonet.
Considering how much other gear we had to carry, it really ain't surprising no one had (or wanted bad enough to buy it) a second fixed blade to lug around.

The only other knife we had (and it saw much more use than the bayonet) was the "Demo" pocket knife we were issued.
They did not want my Demo knife back when I was discharged. :D
I still have it, 45 years later. :D
