BTW - the two at the bottom of the picture are my oldest and newest Busses - received 9 years and about 19 hours ago, respectively.

I really like this knife. A lot. Retention on the sheath is from the groove on the blade instead of the handle so there isn't any Res-c sticky on the draw.

That's exactly what the DS8 is - TG blade on a regular Res-C handle. Or did you mean on a double guard Res-C handle, like the Regulator's?

Someday we will have an Infi Reg or DS8 on a Regulator handle. The Reg handle accepts a .33” tang so either they would have to make a thinner one of much thicker blade.... HOGDS8 anyone?

I wonder if it will be possible to swap a HOG War Feather to a Reg handle?
