Making Sole Authorship knives has been a long time coming. I plan on doing more of it, I just need to build a press!
The damascus for this knife was all made by me, under the watchful eye of Mastersmith J.D. Smith.

The blade is 4-3/8 in long and is a laddered modifed "W" pattern. The pattern is very fine and delicate with a lot of chatoyancy. The front and rear bolsters are a biased forged basketweave pattern. The scales are premium blue and green mammoth ivory with both sides matching quite well!

Fully fileworked backbar, liners, and thumbstud. The thumbstud is 14K gold set with an idolite. The liners have been anodized gold and the screws heat colored blue.
*Note* there are no visible bolster or pivot screws. Precision fit, finish, smooth action and precision lockup. Overall length of 9-5/8 inches.

This knife will be available on my table 5-E at the blade show. Please stop by and check it out.
Thanks for looking,
Chuck

That's a beauty. And I can only imagine it's much nicer than the photos reveal. Nice ivory, filework and exceptional damascus.
