I just finished this for a customer and thought that you might like to see it. This is my first sole authorship slip-joint. The blade is 2-7/8 of my own "W" pattern damascus. Front bolsters and butt cap are my own mosaic damascus and the scales are premium antique tortoise shell. I cut the shell pieces out of the best part of the box I had. They look awesome, especially in the sunlight! Fileworked damascus backbar, titanium liners and screws. I heat colored the screws gold and the liners have been anodized gold. The bolster screws have been hidden for a cleaner look. I also turned the pivot screws down smaller so they didn't stick out too much. Great walk and talk with a half stop. Overall length is 6-1/2 inches.
Let me know what you think.
Regards,
Chuck

Very nice work! I love the file work on the liners. And the Damascus is great, especially the bolsters.

Can I assume "sole authorship" means that this is a unique-to-you pattern?

That's wonderful work. You have used all the principles of design. It is one of the nicest pieces I have ever seen. Congratulations

Please do expound on "sole authorship". Beautiful scales Chuck, very nice knife.
