I tried sending images this time and months before but this site wouldn't accept them .. Thank you for reminding me of beryllium and I thought of a non sparking hatchet for dangerous situations but research showed no info for me so far.Without images it will be difficult to help. That being said, it's possible it's a non-sparking axe made of beryllium copper, which is highly toxic if you inhale dust from it, so do not file or grind it without getting a positive identification.
I googled using different wording and now the beryllium / copper non sparking crash axes and tools pop up which helps a lot even though this head is smaller and a very simple style. Thanks for your input.Without images it will be difficult to help. The shape of this small axe is a simple American or Kentucky style like the tomahawk carried by General Samuel Hopkins and many buffalo hunters later on.Without images it will be difficult to help. Howdy gents. May I recommend a photo sharing site? free and drag and drop easyUse a photo hosting site to help post pictures, I would like to see this axe!
go to imgbb upload your image, click on the image after it's done uploading it will bring you to a screen with just your picture, after right click it and copy image address then come here click the little image icon left of the smiley face, after you do that click the chain link icon by URL then paste your link in that and hit insert.

Mostly because it costs SOMEONE money to host images. Paid memberships cover the cost, which allows us to directly upload photos. But if not paying for the storage space here, then a hosting site that uses advertising revenue to cover those expenses can be used instead, and the link to the image used here to point to their online storage. Think of it like renting a storage unit. Either you pay for one here or you pay for one next door and open the door to it and yell for everyone who's over here to look at what's in your unit across the street.I don't understand one word of the above instructions on ways to post photos to this site.
HEADS UP TO THE BLADE FORUM--THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE (MOSTLY SENIORS) WHO HAVE INTERESTING KNIVES, AXES, ETC. AND NEED VERY SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS TO POST PICTURES. Why does this have to be any different than posting a picture to a email ?
OK,I get it. Like everything else in the human race, it is about money. Makes me sad.
