solingen blades

I am looking for any manufacturer of knife blades in Solingen, Germany. I live in Europe and it will be simpler for me to purchase those blades directly from the producer. I have been in contact with one manufacturer (Rudolf Broch), but they take orders only for 500 blades or more. Too much for a single and humble part-time knifemaker!
Do you know of any other who delivers smaller quantities?
I'm talking about those old, thick, carbon steel blades much in the style of the "Othello" or "Anton Wingen Jr." blades...
Thank you.

You might try this at the European Knife Community Forum where German knife makers used to stop by. If you do a search in the archives you might get their e-mail addresses.
I found the "Solingen knife world" (all knives marked with Solingen) quite confusing. Some knives were great, some not so much. Now, I tend to go with the manufacturer. Among them, for example Henckels was always considered good quality at least in carbon steel knives and in our family for three generations.
Hope it helps somewhat.

HM
