Solingen individual Bladesmiths?

Happy new year to everyone!

I am currently pursuing my Master's and have to write a research paper for one particular class. I am based in Munich, Germany, and I want to reach out to/interview (over E-mail) bladesmiths who are (possibly) based in Solingen. Are there any on this forum?

I am primarily looking for individual smiths; but even if you work with any of the large companies like Zwilling/Otter/Wusthof, especially in marketing and manufacturing, please do comment below. Even if you are elsewhere in Germany, I can still interview you

I am not sure if there is a specific section for posts like these, so I have posted this in the general forum. English is not my first language, so kindly forgive my mistakes.
 
Uli Hennicke used to come on BF every now and then. I met him at Blade back around 2010-2011. He's in Mainz, but can probably help you.

One thing you should seriously do is get a copy of the last exhibitors catalog from the IWA show in Nuremberg (held every April at the Messe Centrum). That will have a number of individual makers listed. Even better, if you have the time, would be to go to the show. As a student you should be able to get entry with a letter of introduction from a professor. Start looking into this now, because it can take time to set up.

I met another guy in Regensburg too. Can't remember the name, but there's a good knife shop in the old part of the city and they may be able to help.
