Solingen sterling knife

I have a sterling silver knife that pulls apart in the middle of handle. It is in graves w/advertising. Also blade is stamped on one side w/PatPen Solingen. O the other HY. Kauffman & Sons, Germany. What is the approximate value?

Yup. Exactly this. You're new, and it can be tough to read all the rules before joining, but yeah, we don't do value questions with unpaid memberships.

That said, we've got a lot of knowledgeable folks here and if you post some pictures, there is a decent chance that someone can identify the knife and tell you a little about it.
