hello all! long time lurker first time poster.
Today while looking around in a pawn shop i ran across a knife that i cant seem too find anything on.
The knife is a slim line folder with black micarta handles. Onone side of the blade it has seki-city japan, on the other it has solo at the bottom of a triangle with what looks too be a bird on top rite of triangle. I traded an old benchmade knife and 30 dollars for it knife because it was 99 percent new, razor sharp matter of fact it has never been sharpened, and it had its leather case.

Can anyone tell me abt. this knife?

Made in Seki, the knife making city in Japan. These types of questions are much better if accompanied with photographs .

Sounds like a paragon knife, they made some in seki, plus the bird and micarta kind of usual stuff for them, but not sure -have a pic?

Does it look like either of the ones in the middle?

If yes, then it is a Spyderco Solo, the longer one is the Solo1 and the shorter one is the Solo3 I believe. Designed by Spyderco but made under a different brand.

EDIT: Closeup of the logo, if that helps.

Yes sir it is the second one from left.

Ooh very nice pickup then! It's a trade I would have made in a heartbeat, I've been on the search for one for years! Picked up the lightweight one a while back and it makes a great loose pocket carry.

Nice score!
