Solvang 2010 Pics? Knives? Opinions?

For myself, the Solvang 2010 show served as an informal 101 education and opportunity to meet both knife makers and collectors alike that I had held in great esteem. I won't venture myself to review the show as Bob Betzner did a wonderful and succinct job of this already. I truly enjoyed Solvang, meeting Bob, Curt & Julie Warenski, Tim Hancock, Gary Blanchard, Dennis Friedly, Howard Hitchmough, C. Gray Taylor and many others. Being new to the show I hesitated on pulling out the camera (in hindsight a foolish mistake & great loss). So...hopefully some of you were not as shy on the trigger and are willing to post pics of some of the happenings, knives or simply offer opinions.

Here are a couple of knives from Solvang that I brought home. First, a Boguszewski Mini Cobra, and next up, a Steve Hoel Coke Bottle engraved by Amayak Stepanyan. Both very welcome additions to my collection.

VERY NICE SCORE MARTINR!

I was surprised to say the least at the several draws I was fortunate enough to be picked. I was careful (in my mind anyway) and droped some 15 slips. I had no idea I would be picked on some 10 of those!!! Ugggh. I really enjoyed speaking with Tim Hancock as he was incredibly generous with information on the two I purchased from him. The first his California Gold Rush Dagger (shown in first post) and the second his #1 Coffin Handled Bowie (his first engraved).
