New here.

I found where to disable signature display, but can I do the same with avatars?

TIA

Not that I am aware of. Is there a specific reason why you want to disable avatars?

Yes...I like a clean forum page. No sigs or avatars. vB offers the option for users to disable both, but the options have to be turned on by the ForumMeister.

Go to http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions
Halfway down the page, find Thread Display Options
Visible Post Elements:
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in code)
You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.

Thanks, Esav, but this is what I get:

However, I found another way to accomplish my goal. There is an extension to AdBlock+ called "Element Hiding Helper for AdBlock+" which does exactly what I want.

I'm using a spin-off of Firefox called 'PaleMoon,' and that may be the reason I don't see the avatar blocker you refer to. The option shows up in earlier versions of vBulletin, like the one being used on CandlePower.

Thanks for your help.
