Solved my knife conundrum - quality over quantity

So I'm looking at a custom knife from a small maker I really dig. And I am trying to decide if I can justify keeping my XM's. Which one do I get rid of? The spanto is such a unique grind and virtually indestructible, the slicer is just as tough overall with a high flat grind in just the right place, and the wharncliffe just plain scary looking (in a good way LOL). I can't possibly get rid of these blades! Hell, I still need a find a 3" slicer to satisfy my Hinderurge.

It's either the Sebenza or the BM's and Spydies that will have to feed the need. Even the Sebenza is tough to get rid of. But the XM's are staying. My collection has been dwindling for a while, but I realize that I would rather have 6 or 7 great knives than 20-30 good ones.

Now back to work - gotta make some more money to get my knife fix on!

Lol, "Hinderurge" - I like it!

I'm down to three custom folders myself, two I won't part with and one I tried to sell but didn't get any takers for what I wanted for it. Of the two I'm going to hold on to, one is my Sebenza substitute - an all Ti frame lock that is similar in size and shape to a large 21 - the other was one I commissioned and waited 9-10ish months for.

Otherwise all play money is going to XMs and AR-build stuff right now :)

Always quality! Quality is free, cheap will always cost more in the long run. And quality stuff just makes you feel good.

 thats what i always go for - either when it comes to products i buy or products i create

cant wait to show off my new wall mounted display case once i got all the knives i have incoming :D
