The compression lock isn't like fixing a liner or frame lock. It's a different mechanical design. Tighten your pivot if that fails then you should send it into Spyderco. It would be quicker than trying to figure out what is the best course of action. When you send it in, make sure you include a very detailed letter with the knife, indicating exactly what you feel is the problem, and what you do not want done to the knife. No such thing as too much detail in this case.
