Hey Guys. Well I have found myself in a bit of a quandary. It took me over 5 years but I managed to find a B.S. backspacer and actually had to get take it to my buddies machine shop to install it on a Large Micarta 21 with a polished blade and silver hardware as the pin's ends were a hair too wide and just wouldn't go in. But anyways, that is not my question. I know these are extremely rare if not "myth like" and I have come to a time when it is time to pass it on. Does anyone know approximately how many were made or what sort of value they might have? I mean there can't be more than say 40-50 of them at most. I decided that I am selling it in the knife as the knife is literally BNIB, never used, never touched, and I don't want to risk scratching it by trying to take it out. I hate letting it go but I just don't want to chance messing up a 100% BNIB knife. I mean its as new as it gets. Not a blemish on it and we literally used the white glove treatment while installing it to insure that not even a pin sized mark occurred and amazingly it took the good part of an afternoon.
Any input would be much appreciated but the knife was $500 flat and I mean the back spacers were $40.00 brand new but that was like 8 years ago or so and they are so hard to get that I had to buy a knife that I did not really want just to get this one as it was installed as well on another 21. So its kind of the same thing all over again. I know if I post it I am going to get bombarded with people trying to buy just the back spacer but it just ain't happening. Plus, once you have one, you finally have one. You could put it on any 21 or an Umnuumzaan, forever. I hate asking for any type of price as I can usually handle things on my own after all these years but this one has gotten me stumped. Here are a few quick ones to refresh anyone's memory:

I mean it gives the entire knife a whole new look and what you can do to a Sebenza really is quite limited and these were one of the few things that really did work. I have heard that Chris asked Mr. S. to stop making them and he obliged and that was from a pretty good source but as I said, any input would be really helpful and appreciated. Thanks to all and God Bless.
