Some advice on a new pocket knife

Guys, looking for a new pocket knife/folder. Looking for something 2"-3.5" in length with some type of assisted opener. Like a plain edge, no serration.

Looking for a price range of $100 or less.

Some suggestions for a quality knife that fits within the specs above for me to take a look at would be most helpful. Will use as an EDC on the weekends around the farm and also hunting/fishing/camping.

Have some real nice fixed blades and prefer them to folders so I don't know a lot about folders, hence the help from you guys. I like something quality with a good blade.

Kershaw Knockout is well within your price range and it an assisted opening with a blade that's 3.5". They are very well made, I really like mine.

Does it have to be assist? There are several Spydercos that fit your specs other than that. If you tried a Spydie you may not need the AO.

Benchmade griptilian, it's not assisted but you won't care once you start using it. If assisted is necessary, look at the benchmade barrage. Both are high quality knives that will outlast anything else in the same price range.

Just look at all of Kershaws offerings at somewhere like Bladehq, or if your lucky enough to live near a shop with blades check them out in person. Kershaw has a wide variety of reasonably priced assisted openers im sure you'll find something you like. You cant really go wrong with any of them.

You can get a Zero Tolerance 0350 blem from kershawguy.com for a little under $100. That would be my choice.

Kershaw Blur is nice, too.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I have several to choose from now and to look into. Just what I was looking for. Really appreciate it.

Hard to beat a manix 2 or pm2. Put a zip tie through the hole and it will open as you take it out of your pocket. Faster than an auto or AO.

Kershaw Cryo! (Assisted)
Kershaw Skyline! (Non-assisted, but mine flip really well)
