some advice on lube

i had to use my zt 0300 in a really nasty spot yesterday (inside of a 230 kv transformer) and when i got home decided to take it apart and clean everything. well that all went well but when i put it back together the metal rod that i assume is for the ao makes a grinding sound, or dragging type sound. before i cleaned it i noticed that the area that the rod rides in had a heavier type lube in it. so i am thinking that i need to replace what ever that was. so my question is what lube should i use? Right now i normally just clean my knives with soap and hot water, then spray down with liquid wrench, work into pivit point and then wipe down.
 
The torsion bar will rattle or otherwise make noise unless it's bathing in grease of some kind.
 
I never had to replace mine but perhaps some lithium grease. Otherwise you'll need to wait until someone who replaced it before chimes in.

This is standard fare though so your knife is normal.
