I sharpened up this passaround SFNO till it split hair. Then I chopped through a 2x4. I think the chopping would have been far more efficient if the board had been secured by more than my left hand. In any case the edge was completely unaffected. Split hairs before and after.

APEX edge pro. I am loving this sharpener. I could always get a good edge freehand and I still do for fun but the edge is so clean and straight with the edge pro that I'm gonna use it for everything but the convex blades
