Thought I would post a few pics of some Chubby Neckers that I have made for some of the BF members.

First is one with Ironwood. First time working with Ironwood and it turned out pretty good.

Next one is with black G10. This is the blackest G10 I have ever used.

Last one is with ivory paper micarta with red liner.

Those are pretty nice. I really like the black one. Nice looking sheaths too.

Those are all really nice looking little blades, but that Ivory paper with red liners is a real beauty!!

Great looking work , just love those short stocky blades they just call out use me !!! you are truly a craftsman .

that white one looks fantastic with the red liners! great work, the new owners will be very happy!

Do you have any in hand pics? I have slightly larger hands than the average Joe.

Verrrrry Nice! Excellent design, fit, and finish on all of them, and the sheaths too.

I notice that you use a sort of wrap-around belt loop arrangement on your sheaths. Is this an artistic flair or is there a functional reason for it. Thinking about it I suppose it could be worn vertically or horizontally (if it was snug enough so the knife wouldn't fall out).

Lonepine...
The belt loop allows for horizontal and vertical ambidexterous carry. I am rather fond of it myself.

Carrying a small fixed blade horizontally is amazing, I haven't looked back since I stopped vertical carry...not to mention it hides the knife away from sheeple view for the most part.

Lonepine,

Matt is correct. He should know, he was my inspiration for this style of belt loop. It can also be worn as a necker.

A pic of one in the hand for Jgon.
