Here are some pics I took on a short trip up to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock,in the western foothills here in N.C..It was cold and windy and a goodly amount of snow---and yes that is Bison in the next to last pics-Thanks guys and hope you all had a very Merry Christmas---Regards Butch--I know, it looks like a mountain with a hardon

I love Chimney Rock! We didn't make this the trip this past fall but it's a favorite spot for my in-laws. They would always stay at the camp at it's base.

Yes it's a pretty cool little place,a lot of bikers in the summerThey used to have the hill climb there,I can still hear that big block Cobra coming up through the turns.It is a state park now---Regards Butch
