Alright guys I gotta show some CQC-10 love. She just came in the mail today and I’m electrified! The Super Commander and the CQC-10 have always been my two favorite Emersons (hence why I only own these two) but for some reason it seems like the CQC-10 doesn’t get much affection around here. Why is that? Anyway, this baby has me pumped up! Love the deadly sleek look of this thing. “With bad intent” for sure!! The grip doesn't quite measure up to my Super Commander to be perfectly honest but it is more than adequate. Anyway, on with the photos….

Now despite the pretty pictures above, this knife will be getting down and dirty. I'm going to be rotating it in to my work EDC alongside the Super Commander and 950 Rift. I put my knives through total hell at work too. Mud, dirt, sand, water, paint, dropped on the ground and thrown in the back of trucks, cutting on metal surfaces, you name it. Even some (gasp!) light prying. The Commander has handled everything I've thrown at it and continues to kick ass. The CQC-10 should be no different. The #1 hard-use knives in the world baby!!!

Well I'm about 500 miles north of there but if I find it I'll let you know. But hey if you're in Long Beach then you shouldn't be too far from Emerson....go in and get yourself a new one!

Krazy Cash...wicked photos!!

Excellent pics! Yes, the CQC-10 is a fantastic knife with great ergonomics.

Just today I posted on a different thread wondering why the 10 doesn't get any attention. It will probably be my next emerson!

I like the 10 a lot. Seems like it should be a great all around knife with it's spear point blade. I think it may not get as much attention because it has the oval opening instead of the thumb disk which most Emersons have...but not really sure. Either way, it's a great knife, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Maybe Heckler & Koch had something to do with it? I believe the original knife was designed for them if I'm not mistaken?

IMO, the CQC-10 is the perfect Emerson. No thumb disc means less parts. I think the blade shape is the nicest Emerson design.

It also makes it "wave open" easier as there's no protrusion from the disc holding the pocket back from the wave. I find the grip shape to be excellent for an EDC, while the Commander remains my all time favorite for a "combat folder" grip. My CQC-10 is my only semi-serrated blade (not a fan typically) but has seen more use than most of my other EKI's.
