I started this thread after something on the 'bay tweeked me out. I shortly came to regret it- probably came as close to being a BF troll as ever and have been hoping this thread would drift down and go away. It ain't happening so I'm gonna help it along!

If I wanted to post this I should have done it in whine/cheese and feel like I got negative in a way I don't want in my favorite company's thread. Sorry Swamp Rat!

I'd rather keep stuff on the +...so with that, I'm closing this sucker!

Yep. Israel. I double-took for a second, too.

I'm betting he over-paid back when he got them and shipped them overseas. If someone wants one, they'll buy it.

There was a BR or CT on there not a week or two ago. NIB for $200. WOW!
 
Too bad- there are some cool knives! It has some make an offer option. I offered $1 and it didn't fly...too bad! :)

That said, the guy sounds nuts - that's some serious coinage.

I made a 'reasonable' offer on the Desert Jack. I will not list an exact price but it was >$200 by a bit and the offer was instantly denied. It seems he has it set up to deny instantly any offer below some reserve. It would be nice to know what range is getting close to his realm of possibilities. Though at this point it does not matter as the instant denied offers are beyond what I could have afforded anyway.

my $1 offer for the swamp rat sar was rejected too! :D

i just did it hoping it sent him an email...

he does have a couple nice blades there!

I wonder what he has the auto denial/reply set at, $300 each, $400? Pretty wishful thinking on his part.

Some people value their items differently and for different reasons than you might, doesn't mean they are "demented". Its just an auction, instead of being poopy about it, move on to the next one. That seller certainly didnt go out of his way to waste your time, why waste his?

I bet he appreciates your advertising for him though.
 
You are probably right about some of that. Those prices/ads did not bring out the better part of me.

But, $500 for a mini mojo is mind blowing don't you think?
